I know, I know...What happened to posting our loot every week? Time just gets away from us these days. Michael is always on the move; he's walking himself around the coffee table and across the kitchen while holding on to the cabinets. He has a deep love for anything hinged which is unfortunate in that he doesn't yet understand that the doors will pinch his fingers. Thus is is necessary to follow him around the house pulling closed doors that he has pushed open. One of the joys of living in an old house is that in the summer, none of the doors close all the way. It's great. Really. Anyway, here's what we picked up from our CSA farm this week: one bunch Swiss chard, two bunches of Russian kale (I think Russian kale might be this year's kohlrabi.), two bags of green beans, two heads of green leaf lettuce, two spring garlic, one bunch of turnips (or radish, we're not sure), and two summer squash. We also bought some ricotta from Narragansett creamery, corn from Confrida Farm, sodas from Yacht Club.
